Our first meeting...just kidding! This photo was taken just a few weeks before at Noodle Gourmet so right place wrong time
This was our first official picture. You don't like snow and yet you were willing to go snowboarding with me. I guess I should have known then that you were something special =)
Nothing says asian like Valentines Day fortune cookies. Most people say you have my heart, but you had my fortune cookies
Awkward phase... yep that's about it
Eventually you said yes! (And spoiler alert, eventually I did shave too). We started dating on May 25, 2014. A square date for all you math nerds out there
Our first outing as a couple. I may not express my emotions that well but I was feeling as happy as you look in this picture
Fast forward a month and we're already having our last meal in the same country because...
I was signed up to leave the country for a few weeks on my 4th mission trip to Malawi with this handsome man...
And shortly thereafter you left the country for the magical land of Taiwan. You said you were there to teach but I think you just went there to take care of babies =P
Coming home and not finding you there was hard, but the next 6 months not seeing you was even worse. Little did I know that you were feeling even worse about it than I was at the time. At the very least I now had work to distract me
You came home for 10 days and we managed to pack a lot of fun into that short time. One of the best moments was starting the tradition of going up to Cornell to visit Phoebe for felly dinner on Valentines Day
Summer 2015 and you were finally back for good. I was so excited and we spent many days together that summer. I set this photoshoot up as one of our fun outings. What you didn't know (or maybe you were smart enough to realize) is that I was planning to propose that day! The timing wasn't right, but you were worth waiting for
At the end of the summer you started your law career off as a 1L at Temple. A new chapter of your life opened, and as usual you found your crew pretty fast
Now that you were in Philadelphia we found ourselves a train ride or an hour drive apart. I enjoyed coming to cook meals at your apartment, but we both wanted to spend more time with each other. Since you had my heart it made sense for you to have my time too, so in summer 2016 I bought my first place in Philadelphia
Since then we have had more than a few adventures between fixing the place up and hosting friends. But even though we've had a lot of fun so far, I'm looking forward to the future adventures even more
It has been a wild ride so far...
Would you like to join me and find out how it ends?
